Have you ever wonder when would you be able to finally do-less?
And when you think about working less, you feel your shoulders getting more tense, your breath becomes shallow, and you feel somewhat agitated?
Perhaps you have been conditioned to believe that your worth relies on the amount of work you do.
You grew up seeing your parents working 2-3 jobs, or working from dawn to dusk.
Your parents would call you lazy if you were not awake early on the weekends to clean the house.
You followed the advice of getting a degree, then getting a job, going the extra mile at work, and being self-reliant.
Don’t get me wrong, I can see the importance of having a good work ethic and being self-reliant, especially if it helped you (or your ancestors) survive harsh environments, create some wealth and become independent from the welfare system. AND, I also have seen how detrimental it can be to keep this train of thought and work.
When you start the process of "doing less", especially as a BIPOC, it can be very overwhelming and isolated; since most of your family members and peers continue to operate from the other perspective.
This is why I strongly recommend joining Origin Collective, a group of other like-minded folx to help you not only learn from a mentor guiding the group, but also from your fellow peers that are also in the same journey of following their own rhythms, putting their bodies first, and finding ways to work less and make more.
Kate Northrup's Origin Collective helps you grow your business while working less.
This membership gives you the framework, tools, step-by-step instructions, inspiration, and support to manage your time and energy so that you can grow your business while doing less.
Kate is an entrepreneur, bestselling author, and mother, who provides tools, mindset, and strategies to support ambitious, motivated, and successful women light up the world without burning themselves out in the process.
She is my current coach and mentor, via the Origin Incubator mastermind, and I am so excited to share her knowledge with all of you.I Want In!
Why I Am a Proud Origin Collective Affiliate:
1. Kate Leads By Example
I have seen Kate gracefully pivot and maneuver all the challenges 2020 has brought to her business. She has been a great White Ally and has raised her voice against systemic oppression, racism, and supremacy. She has also talked about her White privilege and has been using it to give voice to those in need.
2. Origin Collective is BIPOC inclusive
I feel safe within the community and she has brought several BIWOC experts for the Maven Classes and Coaching Calls.
3. The members are AMAZING
I am part of several other memberships and communities; however, I usually get the most support and help when I post in the Origin Collective group. Also, the group of women that are part of the current program I am part of (Origin Incubator) is amazing as well.
Here's what other Origin members are saying:
"The only regret I have is not joining Origin sooner. There’s so much great information & Kate teaches in ways where I can digest the information without feeling overwhelmed. Thank you for always over delivering each month!"

"Origin has helped me cross off business marketing “should-do’s” and leverage my unique strengths, preferences, and energy flow. Adopting Kate’s unapologetic do-less strategies has helped me to let go of trying to be everywhere and be OK with doing a few things really well."
"I work 2 days a week (12 hours) and tripled my biz income. I ONLY do what's essential. We hired a rockstar nanny and a cleaning service. If I'm not feeling aligned with something, I don't do it. Period. I no longer push myself and force things to happen. I honor my needs and allow others to support me like never before. Oh yeah, and my marriage is ON POINT, like deep levels of intimacy unlike ever before, and we allow ourselves soooo much more FUN. We have taken TWO kid-free vacations this year after almost 14 years of never having been away from our 5 kids overnight EVER."

Just needed to share that since I joined Origin, I've worked the least amount ever since I started my business. I've had more space and have been a lot gentler on myself, taking more time out, most importantly, with very little guilt. I've also had the best ever month income-wise in my business, something I never thought would have been possible. Something to be said for not pushing and allowing the good stuff to happen. Thanks so much, Kate.
