How do I know I can help you…

Hi! I’m Dr. Lydiana, a fellow Boricua psychotherapist and healer. I’ve been in the field for over 13 years, the last 5 as an entrepreneur - private practice, podcaster, and coach. I’ve also supervised and mentored over 100 psychology students, trainees, and licensed psychotherapists.
As a Boricua, I internalized a lot of the oppression my people endured and translated it to being in a go-go mode, prioritizing working hard, self-doubts, feeling like an impostor, shaming myself for needing to rest or pause, and not feeling enough. This, combined with experiencing racism and oppression since moving to the US, has added more experiences that perpetuated the internalized oppression. It was until I had my oldest child that I was “forced” to pause and reflect on the course and rhythm of my life, and since then I have been seeking a different way.
Something that was a constant for me was taking risks and doing (trying) to pursue my dreams. What I didn’t know was that it was all being fueled by my fight/flight trauma response.
After 7 years of my “awakening” and doing the inner and outer work, finally, I am way more cognizant of my trauma responses, have learned to manage them much better accepting things and not forcing any changes.
I am taking the risks from a much more grounded place and is fueled by my connection with my calling and inner gifts. I practice body-based skills to help me regulate when self-doubts and imposter thoughts visit me, and I am much better at releasing what is not serving me.
And I am ready to share and facilitate healing so you can explore and release self-doubts, internalized oppressive beliefs and behaviors, imposter beliefs, and trauma responses that get in the way of them bringing forward their most authentic healing gifts.
